A week leading up to a more active week next week. Snow will impact the Rockies early in the week and another storm coming this weekend will bring more snow over a much larger area of the West. That storm may bring flooding rains to the central West coast Sunday. Snow in Wyoming tonight and Tuesday may accumulate up to a foot.

Storm moving across the Northeast could bring a swath of 3-6 inches of snow across parts of the Northeast Sunday afternoon and night. Behind that storm, severe storms and heavy rains may break out across the Midwest Sunday as well.
