Hurricane Francine Update

Hurricane Francine made landfall yesterday near Morgan City Louisiana as a Category 2 storm, bringing some heavy rains and flooding to the area. Currently Hurricane Francine has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression. Francine has weakened while making her way through Mississippi, and continuing to the NNE today. With TD Francine there still is a threat of some flooding and some severe weather with the convective bands associated with Francine. We will have to keep an eye on the damage left behind from Francine.
