Snow for interior parts of the Northeast with accumulations less than 4”. With the snow, areas East of the snow will see some heavy rainfall with the potential for flooding and those storms could be severe. Some gusty conditions are expected from Rhode Island down to the Carolinas. Lake effect snow today and tomorrow will produce some heavy accumulations especially for the Erie and Buffalo area. With all the rain expected and bitter cold coming in tonight and tomorrow, expect some flash freezes to occur on wet surfaces especially roads.
