A dangerous arctic storm will be impacting the Great Lakes and the Northeast today into tonight. Snow along with below zero wind chills and very cold air will make for a very cold start to the week. Snow accumulations look to be around 1-4” with areas along the I-95 corridor seeing over 4”. Windy conditions associated with the storm will create blizzard like conditions. The Plains will also be dealing with the arctic air with high temperatures below zero. Lake effect snow will impact the Great Lakes throughout the week, with accumulations of 4” +.
