Snow continues in the Northeast today from the storm yesterday. Parts of update NY, Vermont, NH, and Maine could see snow accumulations of 8”+. Areas south could see a coating of snow and some rain as well. The Boston area could see some freezing rain. Some lake effect snow in the Great Lakes with some minor accumulations of a coating to 2”. Heavy rain in California today with the possibility of localized flooding. That rain will bring snow into the Sierra Nevada’s today and into the Rockies tomorrow. Some cold weather in the Plains and Midwest today, and to start next week some below zero temps.
