Today some severe weather and heavy rainfall in the Southeast to Mid-Atlantic states. Some areas could see 2-3” of rain in 24 hours. Some localized flooding will be an issue with these storms. Severe weather today focused around Alabama with the chance for some hail, gusty storms, and tornadoes. A nice day today for those in the West, while the Northern Plains into the Great Lakes and Northeast, will see some cooler temps move in for most of the week.
