More severe weather today across the Ohio and Mississippi Valley’s, as you can see from the line of storms. Dew point temps will be in the 60’s across the Mississippi Valley and the South which will likely be the areas some tornadoes develop today. Hail and gusty conditions will be associated with these storms throughout the day. Heavy rains from Southern Illinois down to Oklahoma will be a major threat today and over the next few days, as some areas could see 2-3” of rain. Those areas are still dealing with heavy rains from last week. Warmer temps will stay further south today with some cooler temps in the Northern Plains, Great Lakes into the interior areas of the Northeast.
