This morning we’re already seeing rain and thunderstorms in the Northern Plains into the Great Lakes. This trend will continue throughout the day and the storms will intensify. Hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are likely with these storms. These storms will extend down into parts of the Mississippi Valley as well. Dew points temperatures will be high today increasing the likelihood of tornadoes with this system. Localized flooding will also be a concern to areas in the Northern Plains and Great Lakes. The rest of the US looks to be pretty warm today with some cooler weather in the Pacific NW.
