Some rain and thunderstorms making their way out of the Midwest and into the Northern Great Lakes this morning. More storms will develop later today across parts of the Northeast and stretch down into Texas and Louisiana. Damaging winds and hail will be in play with these storms. Localized flooding will also be a concern through parts of the Northeast through the Tennessee and Mississippi Valleys and into Texas, as several inches of rain has fallen over the last few days. Cooler weather across the Northern Plains into parts of the Great Lakes today, with the warmth further south.
