Showers and thunderstorms already this morning in Southern Texas and in the Ohio Valley. The storms in the Ohio Valley will move into the Mid-Atlantic states and parts of the Northeast today. These storms will bring heavy rains, gusty conditions and some possible hail. Cooler temps will also come in behind these storms. Localized flooding could also be an issue with the heavy rains, in some areas. Later today along the Carolinas more storms will form and come into the area, bringing heavy rains, winds, and hail. Today across the Great Lakes we could see a haze from the Canadian wildfires coming into the area, possibly bringing some not so pleasant air qualities.
