Today a low-pressure system making its way through the Carolinas producing showers and thunderstorms. Some localized flooding will be an issue. Storms developing in western to central Texas later today. Gusty conditions and hail possible with those storms. A tornado not out of the question with dew points in the 60’s and low 70’s. More showers and thunderstorms out across the Plains and parts of the Great Lakes into the Tennessee Valley today. We are still dealing with the smoke from the Canadian wildfires with some areas seeing very poor air quality.
