Today showers and thunderstorms will continue in Texas as they have been dealing with storms daily. With the rain flooding with also be an issue to parts of Texas and parts of the Mississippi Valley. Some of those storms in Texas could be severe later. Later tonight storms will develop in the Plains and move into the Upper Great Lakes overnight. Some of those storms could become severe. The Midwest into some parts of the Northeast still dealing with some air quality issues from the Canadian Wildfires.
