Showers and thunderstorms today across the Plains today bringing gusty winds, hail, and a possible tornado. Some heavy rainfall across the Plains could result in some flash flooding in certain areas. More showers and thunderstorms in the Ohio and Tennessee Valley’s today as well as the Southeast. Some areas in the Ohio and Tennessee Valley’s could see some localized flooding with all the rain those areas have seen in the last few weeks. Air quality from the Canadian wildfires is slowly improving in the Midwest and parts of the Northeast. Warm weather in areas of Texas into the Southwest with temps in the upper 90’s to low 100’s.
