Today more storms will develop from the Upper Great Lakes down through the Plains and into the Texas panhandle. Some of those storms could be severe today. Over the next few days we will have to watch for some localized flooding in the Upper Great Lakes through the Plains and into parts of Texas. The eastern part of the US still dealing with very hot and humid conditions, with temps nearing 100 degrees and the heat index in some place well over 100 degrees.
