Showers and thunderstorms today in the Great Lakes through the Midwest and into the Plains today. A chance for some of those storms in the Central Plains to become severe. Some more showers and thunderstorms in New Mexico into Colorado today and for the next da to so, which could lead to some localized flooding. The eastern part of the US still dealing with some very hot and humid weather. With the hot and humid weather some moderate air quality in the eastern part of the US today.
