Today storms will impact New Mexico into Colorado for another day causing some gusty storms and some flooding. Storms will develop from the Plains through the Midwest and into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. We will also see storms in the Southeast. Some of these storms look to be severe in the Plains and areas of the Southeast, bringing some gusty conditions and the threat of hail. Dew point temps in these areas will be high today, so you can’t rule out a few tornadoes coming from these storms. Smoke map showing some slight better air quality but still some moderate air quality in the East with how hots it has been in the region. Nothing going on in the tropics over the next few days and most likely into next month.
