This morning we are seeing showers and thunderstorms develop out across the Upper Great Lakes, some of those storms could be severe, with some gusty conditions. Showers and thunderstorms will also develop in the Plains to the Texas panhandle later today. Hot and humid conditions will continue in the eastern part of the US which will bring some heat index’s over 100 degrees, and some scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the eastern part of the US. With all the rains today localized flooding will be an issue.
