This morning we are already seeing some showers and thunderstorms across the Plains and Southern Plains. That theme will continue today and tonight as more showers and thunderstorms develop in those areas later. For the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, showers and thunderstorms will come into the area later today and tonight, and bring some gusty severe storms. With dew points high in the area, a tornado is not out of the question with these storms. Localized flooding will also something we will need to watch for parts of the East, as they have seen a lot of rain over the last several weeks.
