Daily Maps Tuesday July 1st, 2025

Today storms will develop in the eastern part of the US. In areas of the Northeast through the Appalachian and into the Mid-Atlantic states, we will see showers and thunderstorms roll in. Some of those storms could be severe and produce some heavy rains, gusty conditions, and a possible tornado. Localized flooding will also be an area of concern with these storms. More storms look to develop in the western part of Texas today, bringing some severe weather to the area. Showers and thunderstorms will also be in parts of the Southeast but don’t look to be severe. Later this week, we could see a low-pressure system develop around Florida. This is something we will have to watch as the week goes on.
