Today we will see some showers and thunderstorms in the Northern Plains into the Upper Great Lakes, as well as, in parts of the Northeast down into the Mid-Atlantic states and Ohio Valley. With these storms some heavy rains will impact parts of the Mid-Atlantic States and could cause some localized flooding. Some heavy showers in Texas again today, with some areas of Central Texas seeing heavy downpours and 1-2” of rain. Hot weather out across most of the US today, with areas in the NE seeing some cooler temps.
