Today we will see storms break out across the Plains into the Upper Great Lakes. More storms in the Mid-Atlantic States today, as well as the Upper Mississippi Valley. Some gusty conditions and hail with the storms in the Plains. The Plains and Mid-Atlantic States could see some localized flooding over the next day or so with all the rain they will see. A low-pressure system off the Coast of Florida will produce some heavy rains to the Northern portions of Florida, localized flooding is possible. We will have to watch to see if this system strengthens as it crosses Florida and gets into the Gulf, or if it dissipates.
