Today we will see showers and thunderstorms in the Northern Plains into the Upper Great Lakes, as well as parts of the Midwest into the Ohio Valley. Gusty winds, hail, and a possible tornado will be possible with these storms across the Northern Plains. The Mid-Atlantic States could also see some scattered showers and thunderstorms develop this afternoon, as well as some heavy rains. The week ahead looks to be warm and humid for the Plains into parts of the Midwest, and still watching the tropics this week to see if anything develops.
