Today we’ll see some storms develop in the Northern Plains into the Upper Great Lakes, bringing some gusty storms and heavy rains. That area could see severe weather over the next few days, as the warm moist air from the Gulf will drive these storms to the north. The Mid-Atlantic states could see some gusty storms this afternoon, and some heavy downpours. Most of the US today will see hot and humid conditions. Nothing going on in the tropics for the next several days.
