Today more storms look to develop in the Central Plains. These storms will be severe and bring hail, gusty conditions, heavy downpours, and a tornado can’t be ruled out. The dew point temps will be high in the Plains today, creating the right conditions for a tornado or two. With the heavy downpours localized flooding is also a concern. Still seeing towards the end of the week the eastern part of the US will enjoy some cooler temps and less humidity, while the west will be hot and dry.
