Today we’ll see storms develop in the Central Plains, and in the Mid-Atlantic States. The storms across the Mid-Atlantic states will bring some gusty conditions, while the storms out in the Plains will bring hail, gusts over 50mph, and a tornado is not out of the question. Heavy rains will also be an area of concern in the Mid-Atlantic states. Some cooler and less humid conditions today for the eastern part of the US, while the heat continues to be in the south and west.
