This morning we are seeing some showers and thunderstorms making their way through the Midwest. Some of those storms could produce some heavy rains, and some localized flooding is possible. The Southeast will also see some showers and thunderstorms today. Later tonight some storms will develop across Oklahoma into Texas. Some of those storms could become severe. We continue to see the smoke from the Canadian wildfires, and the wildfires out west affect the air quality for much of the US. Hot and humid conditions for much of the US today. Hot and dry conditions out west which is not helping extinguish the wildfires. Watching the Florida coast over the next day or so if a low-pressure system develops and produces some heavy rains across Florida.
