Today we will see storms in the Northeast down through the Mid-Atlantic States and into the Southeast. These storms will bring gusty conditions, heavy downpours, and some could become severe. Severe storms will develop out across The Plains today and later tonight. Some of those storms in the Plains could produce some hail and gusty conditions. We are still dealing with smoke conditions across most of the US. TS Erin still in the Atlantic moving to the West at 17mph. TS Erin could be close to the Leeward and Virgin Islands this weekend to cause an impact, but still watching to see if she tracks further north.
