Today we’ll see some gusty storms in Texas through parts of the Southeast. With the gusty storms we could also see some heavy rains and some possible localized flooding. Later tonight the Outer Banks could start to see the outer bands from Hurricane Erin. Erin now a Cat 2 storms is still tracking to the North-Northwest with sustained winds of 100mph. The Outer Banks could see some dangerous rip tides and high surf as Erin makes her way through.
