Today the Great Lakes, Tennessee Valley, and the Southeast could see some showers and thunderstorms develop, but nothing severe. The Four Corners States will see some monsoon storms yet again. Some areas could see some localized flooding in the deserts and canyons. Hurricane Erin is gone and the NHC is watching another area in the Atlantic for something to develop. Wildfire smoke getting better in the Eastern part of the US, while out in the West wildfires continue to burn and creating some poor air quality.
