Today we will see some showers and thunderstorms in the Southern Plains, which will bring some heavy rains to the area, and the risk for some localized flooding. In the Four Corners States the monsoonal flow continues to produce daily showers and thunderstorms to the area. Flash flooding is a real concern to the area. The air quality in the Pacific NW is getting worse due to the dry conditions not helping the raging wildfires. Nothing going on in the tropics as of right now, with TS Fernand going out to sea.
