Daily Maps Wednesday August 27th, 2025

Today Monsoonal storms will continue to affect the Four Corners States, bringing heavy rains, winds, and flash flooding to the area. Later today and into tonight showers and thunderstorms will develop in the Southern Plains, bringing some heavy rains. The Pacific NW continues to deal with poor air quality due to the wildfires. The Atlantic is pretty quiet. TS Fernand is out to sea and an area in the Caribbean the NHC was watching turned into showers and thunderstorms south of the Yucatan Peninsula. We will have to wait and see what September brings for Hurricane season.
