Today the Central Plains into the Texas Panhandle will see some storms develop with some of them being severe. Hail, gusty conditions, and heavy rains will be associated with these storms. The Gulf Coast states will see some showers and thunderstorms today as well. Some of those storms will bring some heavy rains to the area, and some localized flooding is possible. Monsoonal storms still impacting the West and Four Corners States. Nothing going on in the tropics, and some smoke relief from the rains in the Pacific NW.
