This morning we are already seeing some showers and thunderstorms make their way across the Great Lakes and Plains. That will continue today as more storms develop later today that could become severe out in the Plains. The Southwest will see some locally heavy rain, which could lead to some localized flooding. The NE portion of Minnesota could see some snow flurries later today into tonight as a cooler air mass moves into the Great Lakes. Pacific NW still dealing with wildfires and poor air quality from those fires. The NHC still watching an area in the Atlantic for something to develop over the next few days, but looks to stay out in the Atlantic.
