Today some showers up near the Sierra’s, showers and thunderstorms out across the Southern Plains. Later tonight some showers and thunderstorms look to develop out in the Northern Plains, and some of those storms could produce some gusty storms. A ridge building in the Plains giving some warm temps out across the Plains into the Southern Plains. Wildfire smoke slowly improving in the Pacific NW after some rain moved through the area. Now smoke is impacting the Plains, Midwest, and Southeast, as some wildfires have started in Texas.
