Daily Maps Friday September 12th, 2025

Today we will see some gusty storms develop later in the afternoon and into the evening. These storms will stretch from Montana and North Dakota south to parts of New Mexico. Hail and gusty winds will be the hazards associated with these storms. Today and into Saturday a chance for some downpours and localized flooding in parts of the Southern Plains in Southwest. Nothing to update in the tropics. Smoke from the wildfires impacting much of the Midwest, Plains, and areas in the Southeast. Warmer weather across much of the US with temps in the 70’s and 80’s.
