This morning we are already seeing some showers and thunderstorms come through the Midwest. We will also see showers and thunderstorms come through the High Plains down into New Mexico. Those storms will produce downpours, some localized flooding, and some gusty conditions. The Pac NW through the Plains and into parts of the Midwest continue to deal with smoke from the wildfires. Warmer temps continue for much of the eastern part of the US with summer-like conditions. Continuing to watch the tropics for any development. The NHC is watching a tropical wave off the coast of Africa, that may develop into something over the next week.
