Today we will see some severe storms develop across the Plains and into parts of the Midwest. Later today and into tonight some gusty storms will develop out across the Ohio and Tennessee Valley’s bringing some gusty conditions. Still dealing with wildfire smoke in much of the eastern US, with the Southeast dealing with some poor air quality. Tropical Storm Gabrielle has strengthened to a Category 1 hurricane and will pass to the east of Bermuda today. Bermuda looks to see some rain, winds, and high surf from Gabrielle. The NHC is watching two areas of interest that could develop over the next few days. We will have to keep an eye out in the Atlantic this week.
