Today we will see some gusty storms develop in Arizona and into New Mexico, and could see some heavy rains and localized flooding. The Mid-Atlantic states into the Southeast will also see some heavy rains today and the possibility of some localized flooding. Smoke in the Midwest is slightly improving. Still watching the Atlantic to see what Invest 94L does as it is currently in the Dominican Republic and Haiti bringing rain and gusty conditions. The model tracks are still in consensus with this storm developing into a tropical storm or possibly a Cat 1 hurricane and making landfall in South Carolina early next week.
