This morning we are already seeing some showers and thunderstorms through the Southern Plains and into Texas. Some showers in the Upper Great Lakes and also the Northern Plains. Later today and into tonight storms will develop in the Mississippi Valley and will produce some severe weather. Heavy downpours, hail, wind, and a tornado are all in play with these storms. Some areas could see some localized flooding with the rainfall. Northern Rockies could see snow in the higher elevations over the next few weeks. Nothing going on in the tropics currently, still watching an area in the Caribbean later this month to see if anything develops.
