Today showers and thunderstorms will impact Eastern Texas into parts of Louisiana bringing some severe weather to the area. Heavy rains, wind, hail and a tornado can’t be ruled out with these storms. The Pac NW will continue to see showers come into the area today. Some scattered showers across NY today as well. Tropical Storm Melissa still in the Caribbean with a strong rotation on satellite radar. Within the next 24 hours or so Melissa should strengthen into a Cat 3 hurricane.
