Today Southern California will continue to see showers across the area, and the chance for some localized flooding. The Ohio Valley into parts of the Northeast could see some gusty storms later today with the chance for some hail associated with these storms. In areas along interior portion of the Northeast, more specifically upstate NY, VT, NH, and Maine, could see some mixed precipitation today. Rain, snow, and some freezing rain will come into the area later today and into tonight. Snowfall totals look to be a coating to a few inches, while ice accumulations could make for some dangerous travel. Still watching an area across the Plains into the Midwest and Ohio Valley next week for another round of potential snow and cooler temps.
