This morning we are already seeing showers and thunderstorms across the Midwest into the Ohio Valley. Some of these storms could bring some gusty conditions around Southern Illinois and the surrounding area. To the north of this system some light accumulating snow will fall. While a few days ago this system looked more impressive, areas in the Great Lakes to parts of Northern PA will see a coating to roughly 2” of snow. Out west, Southern California and parts of the Southwest will continue to see showers come into the area. Localized flooding will be a concern yet again today, with areas in Southern California seeing close to 1” of rain and Arizona seeing over 1” of rain in some areas.
