Today showers and thunderstorms will go through areas in Texas and move to the east into the Southeast. These storms don’t look to be severe. Some lake effect snow will move through the Great Lakes into the Northeast, with accumulations of a dusting to 2”. New Mexico into the Southern portions of Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle could see a dusting of snow today as well. The Rockies will see more snow today in the higher elevations. Cold temps this morning out across the Plains and Midwest with single digit temps and below zero temps to start the morning.
