This morning, we are already seeing showers across Northern California into the Pac NW, as rain continues to blanket the area. Today Northern California could see some heavy rains, as localized flooding is still an ongoing issue in the area. In the Northeast some snow showers will come through the area bringing a coating to 2-3” of snow to the Syracuse area this morning and later in the afternoon. The eastern portion of the UP of Michigan could also see 1-2” of snow from this system coming through. The lower Mississippi Valley into the Southeast today will see some showers move through. Another round of cold air will come through the Northern Plains, Upper Great Lakes, and into the Northeast today. Still watching Christmas day as we could see some milder temperatures move in for the holiday.
