Daily Maps Tuesday December 23rd, 2025

This morning, we are seeing snow and rain in the Northeast. Snow looks to be in NY and Central PA, and some mixed precipitation in Philadelphia and rain further south in DC. Some light accumulations with this system 1-4”. Upstate NY and the NE Pennsylvania/ NY border could see 4” + from this system. Southern California will continue to see serious rains impact the area this week. With these rains still impacting the area, the flooding potential is a real danger, and the chance for severe weather will exist tomorrow as thunderstorms come through. Areas in Nevada and Arizona could also see some potential flooding with all the rain in the area. Milder temps for Christmas are on tap, as much of the cold air will remain in the Northern Plains, the Upper Great Lakes, and more interior portions of the Northeast.
