Daily Maps Wednesday December 24th, 2025

This morning, we are seeing some snow showers come through Maine with accumulations from a coating to 3”. The Pac NW and California still seeing showers and thunderstorms this morning and will throughout the day. Some of those storms could be severe in Southern California. Flooding in Southern California continues to be a major concern with how much rain the area has received over the last few days, and how much rain they will continue to see. Milder temps out across the Plains into the Midwest for the holidays. Some areas will see 40–50-degree temps. While the cold remains in the Northern Plains, Upper Great Lakes, and into the Northeast. On Friday, we are watching our next system that will come through the Great Lakes and Northeast. Snow, Sleet, and Freezing rain will be associated with this system creating some dangerous conditions the day after Christmas.
