Hoping everyone had a great Christmas! This morning, we are seeing our next system coming through the Upper Great Lakes into the Northeast brining everything from freezing rain to snow to rain the further south you are. A majority of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will see sleet and freezing rain. Areas north could see 1-4”, while Southern NY, into parts of NE Pennsylvania and even NYC could see over 8” of accumulating snow. This system will move through the Northeast today into tonight. Southern California is still dealing with heavy rains and the daily threat of flooding. Looking ahead colder weather will return to the Plains and Midwest next week after the area seeing some milder temps.
