This morning, we are seeing some lake-effect snows in the Upper Great Lakes and into the Northeast. Accumulations look to be a coating to several inches in the Syracuse area. The closer areas are to Lake Ontario accumulations could be over 8”. More showers out across the Pacific NW today as well as snow in The Rockies, with several inches of accumulating snow. Looking ahead into the weekend, more rain and flooding issues will impact California, some showers and thunderstorms will move across the Southeast and bring the chance for severe weather into Florida. Another clipper will come through the Great Lakes and into the Northeast on Saturday.
