This morning, we are off to a busy start. Snow is impacting Colorado into New Mexico. Accumulations look to be around 1-4”, with some areas along the CO/NM border seeing 4”+. That system will move through the Plains into the Great Lakes tomorrow, bringing some light accumulating snow through the Plains. Showers and thunderstorms are already impacting the Southeast up to the Ohio Valley. Later today more showers and thunderstorms will develop which have to potential to become severe across the Mississippi Valley. Flooding in the area will also be a concern as 1-2” of rain will fall. Snow impacting areas in the Great Lakes this morning. Accumulations look to be light for today, but over the weekend another system will bring more snow to the area. Accumulations total through the weekend for the Great Lakes look to be a coating in areas further south to over 4” for areas further north. A windy day across much of the Midwest and Great Lakes today, with gusts 35-45mph.
