This morning, we are seeing rain coming up the Southeast coast. Snow showers in southern Georgia as well with some light accumulating snow. A coating to 1” for areas in southern Georgia and Alabama. The rain will continue up the coast bringing some decent rains and bringing snow to the coastal areas of the Northeast. From Philadelphia, NJ, DE, through the New England area accumulations look to be around 1-4” with some areas seeing over 4”. Another clipper will come through the Upper Great Lakes today bringing more snow to the area and will move into the Northeast tomorrow. Accumulations look to be a coating to 2”. With the snow colder air and windy conditions will follow creating some blustery conditions. Much of the central and eastern portions of the US will be cold for the next few days as everyone gets to enjoy this cold weather. Areas in Texas and Alabama are waking up to temps in the 20s. Eastern Colorado into the central plains could see a quick burst of snow in the overnight hours tonight into tomorrow, with accumulations of a coating to 2”.
